Network Security
|
| |
| With
the ever increasing ease and speed of
internet (outside) and loca network (inside)
connectivity, one has to be aware of what is
deemed 'good' and 'safe' data transmission.
Also, the insertion of removal disk, USB
memory sticks, DVD-ROM, which allow fast
access and copying of data have to be
controlled. In the non computer world, we
could such thing as - door and cupboard
locks, a back to base building alarm, or a
human security guard. In the
electronic world, there are similar
measures. |

Network Security - Considerations |
| |
These are just some questions:
- Who is using my data and computer
resources?
- Do my staff or clients have the
correct access to both programmes and
data?
- Are they using the internet for
personal instead of non-business core
productivity matters?
- Are my staff being exposed to non
appropriate material?
- Will there be legal action as a
result?
- Are staff taking away highly
confidential customer records?
- Is my business being access by
non-authorised parties from an outside
network link, either via cable, wireless
or internet?
We will do our best to advise you in the
most appropriate manner to protect your
computer network. |
